Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website, book service, or work with Maxcel across the DMV.
Last updated August 22, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Maxcel Services website and your relationship with Maxcel Services ("Maxcel," "we," "us," or "our") when requesting or receiving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related home or light commercial services.
By accessing our website, submitting a request, booking an appointment, or authorizing work, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our site or services.
Maxcel provides residential and light commercial service, repair, installation, and maintenance in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Service availability may vary by location, time of day, and technician capacity.
Information on this website is for general purposes only and does not guarantee that a specific service, part, or appointment slot is available until confirmed by our team.
When you book online, call us, or submit a contact form, you are requesting service, not guaranteeing immediate dispatch. A Maxcel specialist may contact you to confirm details, provide an estimate, or reschedule if needed.
You agree to provide accurate contact information, property access details, and a clear description of the issue so our technicians can perform work safely and efficiently.
Maxcel strives to provide upfront, flat-rate pricing before work begins whenever possible. Final pricing may change if hidden conditions, code requirements, additional parts, or scope changes are discovered after inspection.
You authorize us to perform agreed-upon work at the approved price. Payment terms, accepted methods, and invoicing details will be communicated at the time of service. Unpaid balances may be subject to collection in accordance with applicable law.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Repeated missed appointments, last-minute cancellations, or inability to provide property access may result in a trip charge or rescheduling fee where permitted by law.
We may reschedule or cancel appointments due to weather, emergencies, parts availability, or technician safety concerns. If that happens, we will work with you to find another time.
You are responsible for:
- Providing safe access to equipment, panels, attics, crawl spaces, and work areas
- Disclosing known hazards, pets, alarm systems, or special property conditions
- Securing valuables and clearing work areas where reasonable
- Obtaining landlord or association approval when required
Maxcel is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, or damage caused by faulty prior installations unless directly caused by our negligence.
Maxcel stands behind the quality of our work. Warranty terms for labor and parts, if applicable, will be provided with your invoice or service documentation. Manufacturer warranties on equipment remain subject to the manufacturer's terms.
Except as expressly stated in writing, services are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law once outside any stated warranty period.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maxcel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or our services.
Our total liability for any claim related to a specific service visit is limited to the amount paid to Maxcel for that visit, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
You may not misuse our website, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content, interfere with site operation, or use our materials for commercial purposes without permission.
All content on this site, including text, logos, images, and design, is owned by Maxcel or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Our website may include links to third-party sites or embedded scheduling and payment tools. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Maxcel primarily operates and performs the applicable service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts or venues permitted by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
